There is also a famous street Boat Avenue, where there are iconic restaurants – Little Roma, Little Paris, Odessa, El Gaucho, many other cafes and stores. There are sidewalks, beautifully landscaped areas, the premium shopping complex Porto De Phuket with the best huge delicatessen store and the popular Villa Market, VinePro with a huge selection of quality wines. On the beach are famous expensive cult clubs – The Catch, Maya. Such an abundance of stores and restaurants in Phuket is nowhere else. The glory of Rublevka is mercilessly exploited by developers who in 2023 bought up all the free land here and give for Rublevka its outskirts, which are remote from the sea and in fact it is not. And to get to the center from them you need to drive by car, along winding streets because of the network of lakes and built-up settlements.

A lot depends on the location. Profitability and liquidity in the first place. The 4 cheese pizza is also a benchmark here. Also eggplant cake. There is a lovely evening promenade, restaurants on the sand and a lounge area with drinks right on the beach. It’s a special atmosphere. Other places don’t have that.The beach at Kamala is lovely – with coarse sand, upmarket area on the right side, near the top hotels. Sometimes you can see a coast guard ship. The princess and other members of the royal family often come here to vacation. Only the mountains are cooler.

Its size is small, it is located on a ledge, slightly away from the road, so it is often forgotten. And for good reason. The location is great with access from Surin, Kamale and Bang Tao – 5 minutes by car both ways. There is little vacant land by the sea here, so few offers of properties. Layan is the northern part of Rublevka. This area started to be built up recently, when Bang Tao itself ran out of free land. The plus point here is that there are no old buildings at all. The neighborhood is exclusively new construction. Land here is very expensive, so here are built only 5 * hotels and expensive exclusive villas. Prestigious and elite environment. On the downside – to the very center of Bang Tao with its stores and restaurants on foot can not get. You have to go by car. Not for long. About 10 minutes. But it is very beautiful here. Near the national park. The best objects are located on the first line by the sea. I would like to highlight the new project Gardens of Eden with its largest spa center in Asia, 300 meters swimming pool and 70% of the territory of walking areas of well-groomed tropical forest. Mai Khao started to be developed later, so there are more modern hotels and fewer locals, the beaches seem almost private. Interesting that some developers mark this as a plus and a landmark, not the other way around. It is a long way to Phuket and the infrastructure of the other places. The place is quiet and beautiful. For a secluded vacation.

Since we’re going north, it’s worth saying a few words about Khao Lak. Although it is not in the format. Further north from Phuket stretched beautiful sandy beaches, where quite a lot of beautiful 5* hotels have already been built. But this is not Phuket. This is continental Thailand. Here probably will develop construction in the future, when the land on Phuket will run out completely. It will be soon. Not so long ago a beautiful broadband modern road was completed. Now from the airport the travel time to the center of Khao Lak is 1 hour and 20 minutes. It used to be about 3 hours before the new road was built. On Khao Lak several dozens of beautiful 5* hotels of the world famous chains JW Mariott, Le Meridien, Outrigger, Pullman, X10, Merilin, The Sarogin, Graceland, Avani were built. The hotels are remote from each other, so it feels like you are on a private beach of great length. Back to Phuket.

Beautiful national park, huge areas of unusual sea spaces exposing sand at low tide. A small area of development. Neat, green, quiet. The place is not hyped. For aesthetes and connoisseurs.

If few people have heard and remember the phrase “Nai Ton”, then the word “Karon” is probably known to everyone who has come to Phuket. This is such a densely populated area with a huge number of discreet tourists, where there is everything – a long beach with “singing sand”, a huge number of five-storey hotels and housing, cafes, stores, nightlife. It is good for investment. There is always a tourist flow and demand for real estate. But mass and inexpensive. And rental prices in the low season, unlike Kamala and Bang Tao, fall a lot. There are almost no premium 5* hotels here. Mostly 3*-4* hotels. There are a lot of people everywhere.

This area is very popular with Russians, in the season they book all the hotels in advance. It has its own audience of staunch fans who come only here. Very beautiful. Prom Tep Cape with stunning views of the bay and huge century-old trees, walking paths along the sea, windmills, clear lakes with sidewalks for morning and evening jogging. Close by is the Chalong business district. Everything is clean. There is a unique store with Russian sausages, cottage cheese, sour cream, salads and pickles. A lot of decent restaurants nearby. Hotels and residences are built a little further away. Here is a nature reserve and construction near the sea is prohibited. Walking to the sea from the hotel is no trouble – the route runs in the shade of tall trees along the clear lake on paved paths. The road is a dead end, there are almost no cars. There are hotel shuttle buses to the sea.

Rawai. Rawai Beach. This is not really a beach in our understanding. Yes, there is the sea, there is a small edge of sand, but it is not comfortable to swim here. Very shallow, the water goes at low tide, exposing the heavily silted bottom mixed with corals. A lot of parked long-tail boats and speedboats everywhere. The water is clear. Inferior to the west coast not only in beauty, but also in the ability to use it at low tide. This happens frequently. For example, on Panwa, in a beautiful 5 * hotel in the afternoon the depth of the whole bay went away completely, exposing coral and muddy bottom. Swimming was impossible. Therefore, when remotely buying real estate you need to carefully specify the location of the object, access to the beach and what it is in reality, not on the photo during the tides. On the beach Ravai do not bathe for the above reasons. But the same boats for 10-15 will take you to the most beautiful islands with beaches better than in Phuket.
